Ferozepur Border Marathon takes runners to a place that symbolizes sacrifice and patriotism. Running in Ferozepur is not about pace or personal bests—it’s about connecting with history, where every step honours martyrs like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.
- 21.1 KM - Half Marathon (Ek Daud Shaheedon Ke Naam)
A half marathon dedicated to the supreme sacrifice of our martyrs. Run with pride, honour their courage, and carry forward their legacy.
- 10 KM- (Ek Yudh Nashe Ke Viruddh)
A powerful run against drugs, symbolizing the fight for a healthier, stronger, and addiction-free youth of Punjab.
- 5 KM - (Swasth Nagrik Sashakt Rashtra)
An energetic run, where every step you take strengthens the spirit of a Healthy Citizen & Strong Nation.

Time - 11:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Event Date - 9th Nov, 2025
Defence and CAPF participants/dependants registered under Defence ticket need to show Defence ID for verification before collecting the BIB.
Apart from Defence personnel Adhaar Card needs to be carried as an ID proof.
Note - All participants have to be medically fit for participation.

Anyone banned in past or currently banned by any athletic association will not be eligible to participate in the race.

- Under 18 (Born after 9th Nov 2007)
- 18 to 35 (Born between 9th Nov 1989 to 9th Nov 2007)
- 36 to 45 Yrs (Born between 9th Nov 1980 to 9th Nov 1989)
- 45+ (Born Before 9th Nov 1980)

- The race results announced on the race day will be considered ‘provisional’. Final results will be disclosed post-verification, and individuals meeting the specified criteria will qualify for the prize money.
- The disbursement of cash prizes will adhere to the following criteria:
- Overall (Open) Category Participants will not be eligible for Age Categories Prizes
- Results will be calculated on the NET Chip Time and not on GUN Time
- If in case there are 5 or less Participants in any age-gender category, only First Prize will be given
- If we have 6 to 10 Participants in any age-gender category, only First & Second Prizes will be given
- If we have 10+ Participants in any age-gender category, then all three Prizes will be given
- One participant will be eligible for one cash prize (either Overall or Age Category)
- To be designated as a Cash Prize Winner, participants must complete the race within the respective cut-off time indicated for each race category:
- Half Marathon (21.09 KM) – 3.00 Hours
- 10 KM – 1.30 Hours
- 5 KM – 45 Minutes
- The allocation of finish positions for age categories is based on cutoff age as on 09.11.2025
- Runners seeking eligibility for prizes must not commence the race later than 10 minutes after the official flag-off time and must cross the starting mat within the first 10 minutes from the flag-off.
- Cash Prizes will be disbursed after through verification within 45-50 working days from the event date.
- Furthermore, entitlement to finish positions and Prize Money winnings is contingent upon:
- Accurate bib tag timing recorded at all timing checkpoints along the course, including the start and finish mats.
- Physical verification conducted by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.
- Runners discovered to have exchanged their bib numbers and/or bib tags with others will face disqualification from the competition. Such runners will not be entitled to any timing or prize money rewards and will be banned for three years from Ferozepur Border Marathon Participation.
- Resorting of unfair means false DOB, use of drugs (PED) or lift will lead to immediate disqualification
- Any runner banned by Athletic Association will not be eligible for prize money
- Prize winners declared may be obligated to provide additional proof of identity/age as requested. Failure to comply could result in the Event Promoter retaining the disbursement or disqualifying the participant from the competition, at its discretion.
Protests and Appeals:
- Any confirmed participant can submit a protest regarding the official race results or finish positions, declared post-race. Such protests must be emailed to support@cyruns.com by 11:59 p.m. on 16th November 2025. Emails received after this deadline will not be considered.
- The contents of the email and related results will be reviewed, and a decision on the protest will be communicated within 10 working days from receiving the email. The event promoter may choose to request documents from the complainant and/or the runner involved to aid in making a decision.
- Race Director decisions will be definitive and binding on all parties.
Timing results: If a runner needs to update timing results related to their gender and/or age, they must communicate the required changes to support@cyruns.com no later than 16th November 2025. Requests received after this date will not be entertained.
